F1 22 by Codemasters topped the physical games chart in the UK once again, according to the latest figures from Gfk. The game debuted at number one last week and remained unchanged through the week ending July 9th. According to GamesIndustry, sales were down 48 percent from the previous week, with 37 percent of sales coming from the PS5. Horizon Forbidden West and Nintendo Switch Sports, which took second and third place last week, remain in the same positions.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, meanwhile, moved up to fourth place. Among the new debuts this week is KLONOA: Phantasy Reverie Series, which finished in fifth place. Most of the game’s sales came from the Nintendo Switch at 52% followed by 33% on the PS5. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga dropped from fourth to seventh place, while Pokemon Legends: Arceus remained at eighth.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft (Switch Edition) switched places, coming in ninth and tenth respectively. In terms of other new games, AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative debuted at #28. Check out the full top 10 games of the week below.
