Warsaw, Poland-based publisher Pineapple Works and French solo developer Nicolas Petton have announced that their emotional adventure RPG Dreamed Away is coming to PC on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Dreamed Away is an emotional 2D adventure RPG set in 1990s France. You play as Theo, a boy lost in a dark, mysterious world who is struggling to find his sister. The game focuses on the bond between siblings, fear of death, and doubts about reality.
The immersive storytelling, diverse setting with vibrant color palette and diverse environments, and detailed aesthetic pixel art are designed to give the player a fresh take on the adventure RPG genre.
The action takes place in a cozy village in Brittany, where the surroundings tell you a story about a safe, peaceful and happy place. But a mystery intervenes. Darkness is coming. This is a game about a little boy who questions his sense of reality and sanity. Being alone in a world where he constantly faces his fears.
