Enthusiasts of Media Molecule’s PlayStation-exclusive creative sandbox are virtually recreating the iconic parkour-style gameplay from EA DICE’s iconic title with never-before-seen challenges in an alternate version of the dystopian city that Faith’s epic is set against.
The creator of the project promises to soon launch it in the Dreams universe (and therefore completely free for those who own the game), thereby giving all users the opportunity to run, jump and slide on the roofs of Mirror’s Edge again, albeit in a limited version that will simply rethink the artistic design and gameplay.
The creator himself, on the other hand, claims that this is not a remake faithful to the original, but rather a series of varied levels that will help Mirror’s Edge fans to soften the disappointment of the series’ sluggish development.
