In April, Media Molecule announced that it would be ending support for its Dreams game with the Game Creation Toolkit in September. Ahead of Dream’s closure, the developer updated the game’s terms of use to allow players to take their Dreams creations outside of the project and use them as they see fit – though not all creations.
Media Molecule has announced that under the new terms of use, players will now be able to export any music, animation, film, and art they have created in Dreams and use it for personal or commercial purposes outside of the game. To do this, you need to download a new update, and after re-entering the game, players will be asked to go through and agree to the new terms of use.
At the same time, the notes for the aforementioned update were published, which contain a number of fixes and improvements. You can get acquainted with them here.
Dreams support will end on September 1st, but players will still be able to play, create, and message in-game after that date.
