    The Dire win King’s Cup & qualify for Summit

    The newly formed OpTic Gaming have had a strong start into the season, qualifying for The Summit 8 by winning Beyond The Summit’s King’s Cup series. Beating numerous opponents, such as compLexity, Digital Chaos and Immortals, The Dire have quickly established themselves at the top of various other qualifiers.

    Perfect World announce PW Masters

    Another Minor is on the horizon, as Perfect World announce the first Minor in China. The Perfect World Masters will see 10 teams compete for 300 qualifying points and $300,000 USD prizemoney. Three teams have been directly invited, namely Newbee, LGD.Forever Young and Team Secret. Unlike other Minors and Majors that have been announced thus far, the Perfect World Masters will feature more than just six qualifying teams. A seventh team will be able to qualify through China.

    Na’Vi qualify for SLTV & PGL Minors

    Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere has gotten off to a great start into the season, qualifying for two Minors. Dominating performances allowed Na’Vi to run through the SLTV i-League Invitational Season 3 with ease and they will return to Kiev’s Cyberarena SL in early October. Shortly after they’ll fly out to Bucharest to represent the CIS region at the PGL Open Bucharest .

    Tournament Overview:

  • Three teams have already qualified for the first Minor of the season. Natus Vincere, SG e-sports team and Mineski will compete at the SLTV i-League Invitational Season 3.
  • The PGL Open Bucharest has seen four teams qualify already. Natus Vincere, Mineski, VGJ Thunder and Sacred will compete in Bucharest from October 19th-22nd.
  • KEEN GAMING has beaten LGD-Gaming in the finals of the Chinese qualifier for the ESL One Hamburg Major. Other qualifier spots are expected to be filled in the next few days.
