European powerhouse Team Secret won the DreamLeague Major last weekend. The team surrounding captain Puppey has displayed high quality Dota throughout the entire event, culminating in a one-sided best-of-five finals in which they dominated TI7 champions Team Liquid 3-0. This is the first LAN title for the current Secret roster and in fact the first LAN victory for Ace and YapzOr and only the second LAN victory for MidOne.

Earlier this week, community figure Wykrhm Reddy confirmed the cancellation of three Pro Circuit events. GESC, a South-East Asian tournament organizer, had scheduled to host two Minors in early 2018, but according to a statement on their website those Minors “will not take place on their originally scheduled dates”. While the events may still occur later in the year, it seems unlikely that they will be part of the Pro Circuit. A third, unrelated event, details of which have not been announced thus far, was also cancelled.
