PSG.LGD won the EPICENTER XL Major in Moscow, Russia, gaining 2250 DPC points and moving up to the 4th place in the DPC Rankings. The team went 3:1 in their Grand Final battle against Team Liquid and scored the first Major victory for the Chinese region.

Despite only getting second place in the tournament, Team Liquid now have enough points to join Virtus.Pro in getting guaranteed direct invites to the International 2018. Team Liquid and Virtus.Pro are closely followed by Team Secret, PSG.LGD and Mineski and it is unlikely any of these five teams are going to get out of the top8, while the battle for the last three invites starts heating up.

The wait is almost over and the TI8 Battle Pass will be released today. After witnessing a complete collective meltdown on Reddit, Valve decided to take pity on the community and announce the Battle Pass on their twitter:

    Vega Squadron Withdraws from GESC:Thailand

As a result of multiple delays during Chinese Visa acquisition, Vega Squadron will not be able to attend GESC: Thailand. While the team already managed to secure Visas to Thailand, their documents are currently being held in the Chinese embassy, preventing the team from participating in the last Minor of the season. Given the short notice of this announcement, GESC did not manage to find a replacement team for the tournament, making it an 8-team event.
