Deathverse: Let It Die Developers Reveal Open Beta Results

GungHo Online Entertainment and Supertrick Games have released a new developer diary video for the upcoming survival game Deathverse: Let It Die. In the video, director Hideyuki Shin and cult character Uncle Death reveal the results of a survey conducted after the recent open beta.

North America was found to be home to a significant percentage of respondents (42.9%), followed by Japan (21.2%). 24% of the respondents played the game for 1 to 2 hours, while 17% were more committed when playing 5 to 6 hours. The majority of people felt that the timing and pace of the match were “just right” (60%), but a significant percentage (26%) considered them to be fast or very fast.

The majority of respondents also felt that the actions varied depending on the weapon either fun or very fun (68% in total). Speaking of weapons, the most popular that people would like to fight with in the future is (perhaps unsurprisingly) the scythe, followed by the dual blades, saber, longsword, and claws.

The Hunter element of the game proved popular, with 65% of respondents finding it either funny or very funny. The element of Cryptids was slightly less appreciated, with 57% of positive answers, but 34% of respondents considered it “good”. A whopping 80% of respondents consider the game’s graphics and visuals to be good or very good.

Deathverse: Let It Die is the sequel to the original Let It Die and will soon be released as a free to play service for PS5 and PS4.
