Cooler Master has unveiled the CH331, a gaming headset that the manufacturer claims will give the user all the features they need at a fraction of the price.
Although the CH331 headphones only have two 50mm drivers, the model also supports 7.1 virtual surround sound for an immersive experience. There is little illumination – only logos on cups with a frame. The ear pads are covered with artificial leather. Combined with a padded headband, the oval ear cushions should provide a comfortable wearing experience. The cups are Y-mounted in aluminium, with an adjustable steel base that allows the length of the temple to be adjusted to the size of the head.
CH331 connects to PC via USB. The cable has a control panel that allows you to adjust the volume, mute the headphones, microphone and backlight. The microphone is removable. Claimed dimensions are 179.4 x 96.3 x 210.1mm and weight without cable is 294g.
According to Cooler Master, the CH331 will soon be available in Europe for €43.99.
