Polish developers from CD Projekt RED do not get tired of immersing players in the details of the multifaceted world of Cyberpunk 2077. Very soon, the familiar Night City will be expanded along with the release of the Phantom Liberty story add-on, where a whole area will appear for exploration. In a new publication, the authors of the game decided to introduce us to its ruler – Kurt Hansen, who is definitely destined for an important role in the DLC.
In their message, the developers from CDPR highlight the ambiguity of Kurt Hansen’s personality. Despite being the leader of an entire region, many consider him a ruthless killer and even a terrorist. At the same time, Kurt remains a charismatic ruler who keeps all power under control, including the police, corporations and local gangs.
During the War of Unity, Kurt Hansen took over a part of Night City, later called Dog City, and has kept it alive ever since through the smuggling trade.
What role will be assigned to Kurt Hansen in the addition of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is not yet entirely clear. He can be just another obstacle in the way of the protagonist or become a full-fledged antagonist in the DLC plot.
Recall that earlier the developers introduced the players to another key character of Phantom Liberty – Rosalind Myers.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set to release on September 26 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
