Brawlhalla has been a popular choice for fighting game fans looking for an experience similar to Super Smash Bros. since its full release in 2017. The game features a sizable roster of 55 characters with a wide range of unique play styles and is often praised for its depth as a competitive game and art style. The platform fighting game has also become known for its frequent crossovers with a wide range of games and media franchises. Now developer Blue Mammoth Games has revealed its newest collaboration with one of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises.
A new trailer released by Blue Mammoth Games has officially revealed that Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio and AC: Valhalla’s Eivor will be joining Brawlhalla.
The trailer shows Ezio as a fast close-range fighter with a lot of techniques allowing him to stick to enemies and keep an eye on his attacks. There will be several skins for him, referencing his appearances in other Assassin’s Creed games, including Revelations with the Brute Armor.
Eivor will be featured in the game as an “epic crossover”. The trailer showcases both the male and female versions, although the trailer features only the voice-over of the female version. Players will be able to switch between Varin’s ax and Gungnir while playing as Eivor, and the character will also have “custom signature effects”. The update will also introduce a new Bounty game mode, new stages, and a variety of Assassin’s Creed-themed cosmetics.
