Blizzard is finally adding widescreen loading screens to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

Remember those in-game loading art that didn’t have wider options for widescreen monitors? After 10,000 years, Blizzard finally woke up and decided to update them.

Players have been asking for this for years, but we are all aware and understand that Blizzard only at the very last moment, and under favorable circumstances, can listen to the players and finally do it.

There is one catch in this: the developers decided to update only two two loading screens – Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Perhaps in the future there will be other widescreen loading screens. Below you can see an example of the changes:

It’s also worth noting that these loading screens have NOT been redrawn, but only slightly expanded so that you can now see more additional details on the left and right. All these changes will appear in the new add-on “Dragonflight”, which, we recall, will be released towards the end of the year.
