The MultiVersus servers have been shut down in preparation for the release of Update 1.05.
This update adds Black Adam as a brand new character, as well as Classic Arcade Mode Alpha and Silly Queue.
In Classic Arcade Mode Alpha, players will have to take on variants of iconic characters in Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty modes. After completing a run, you will receive a star on the character selection screen corresponding to the difficulty you completed. 1v1 and 2v2 modes have their own set of stars.
“This is just the beginning for the Arcade mode, and we’ll be adding even more fun and features to it in the near future, and we look forward to any of your feedback,” developer Player First Games said in the patch notes.
Whereas Silly Queue is “home to casual game modes” and includes modifiers for 2v2. The new Growth Spurt modifier causes units to grow in size as they deal damage. More modifiers will be introduced in the future.
