Chinese gaming console manufacturer AYANEO has unveiled two new models of AIR 1S and AIR 1S Ultra-Thin & Light handhelds with a lightweight body and an AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor.
Both new 1S series are equipped with Ryzen 7 7840U processor based on Zen4 Phoenix architecture with 8 cores and clock speeds up to 5.1 GHz. This chip can operate efficiently between 5W and 25W. The consoles also received 16/32 GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and a large M.2 2280 SSD with a capacity of 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and even 4 TB.

Unlike its main competitors, AYANEO offers a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (404 PPI density), a standard 60Hz refresh rate and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The peak brightness is 350 nits – in the sun, information from such a screen is difficult to read.

The standard 1S model weighs 450g and is 21.6mm thick. This version comes with a 10,050 mAh battery. The ultra-thin version weighs 405g and is 1.8cm thick, but it has a 7350mAh battery.

Prices for AYANEO AIR 1S start at $899 for the 16/512 GB version, while the top-end configuration with 32 GB of RAM and 4 TB SSD will cost $1259. The consoles will go on sale from July 11.
