AOC has officially announced the Gaming U28G2XU2, the successor to last year’s U28G2XU. Relative to its predecessor, the new model received HDMI 2.1 ports with increased bandwidth (instead of HDMI 2.0). They allow you to display images in 4K resolution at a refresh rate of 144 Hz when connected to a PC, or 4K @ 120 Hz when connected to consoles.

The display is based on a fast 4K IPS-matrix, capable of boasting not only a 144 Hz refresh rate, but also a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time. Support for the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard is declared, which indicates a peak brightness of at least 400 cd / m2, as well as FreeSync Premium and Adaptive-Sync technologies with dynamic frame rate change (VRR).

Among other things, the AOC Gaming U28G2XU2 received a hub with four USB 3.2 ports, an ergonomic stand with adjustable height, tilt and swivel.

The display will go on sale this month with a price tag of about $820.
