Another update for Team Fortress 2 has been released

Team Fortress 2 has received another major update, less than a month after last try Valve to solve the problem with bots in the game. Patch consists of bug fixes as well as some new server tweaks.

More detailed server options are certainly nice. In particular, it seems that the processing time limiter can help with malicious users. Otherwise, plenty of bug fixes are always welcome, and it seems to help community morale to see Valve play a more active role in the game again. Nearly 800 comments on the update are mostly positive, even if there are a few jokes about how minor some of the tweaks are.

Stormy fan campaign had the intended effect of returning Valve’s attention to TF2, with the company directly acknowledging these efforts and releasing more substantial updates than anything we’ve seen in recent years. It remains to be seen how sustainable this newfound support will be, and whether it will adequately address the game’s issues and satisfy its community.
