Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is out now on PC and Mac on Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices via Netflix. The mind-bending sequel to the critically acclaimed narrative adventure game Oxenfree follows Riley Powerly as she returns to her childhood to investigate haunting signals, only to find something much more than she bargained for.
This new story introduces new game mechanics. With a little more life experience behind him, Riley has a few abilities that Alex from the original game didn’t have. Now she can climb, climb mountains and go to places that she could not before, giving players the opportunity to explore this world in a new way. Players will also find Time Rifts, which are holes in time that rip apart and force Riley to confront history. And, of course, the always-needed radio returns to connect to the anomalies. But now players also have a walkie-talkie that allows them to communicate with new characters in Kamen and dive deeper into the lore of this special story.
