Bahian company Aoca Game Lab has launched the iOS version of Arida, an adventure game set in the outback of Brazil. The PC version was released in 2019, and the mobile journey began in June with the release of the Android version.
The mobile phone and tablet version has no significant gameplay changes compared to the PC version, except for tweaks to the interface and user experience, as well as intensive optimization work, which allowed the game to perform well.
In the case of iOS, the Game Center functionality is worth mentioning, such as sharing achievements and game progress with friends and family.
In addition to the console release Arida: Backland’s Awakening, 2023 will bring the highly anticipated Arida 2: Rise of the Brave, a sequel to the series that will feature a transformed Cicera as well as a more mature Aoka in the series’ internationalization plans.
