    Activision confirms ‘full premium release’ for Call of Duty franchise this year




    Late last year, Activision said the company would release a “full premium” version of the Call of Duty franchise as part of its 2023 strategy. This is despite reports that Activision will skip a year and instead release a full-fledged installment in 2023.

    In today’s latest Activision quarterly report, the company confirms that the shooter franchise is scheduled for this year’s “full premium relayh”.

    Across the Call of Duty franchise, our teams are working to build on the success of the fourth quarter, and plans for 2023 include even more compelling online services across platforms and the next full annual premium installment of the blockbuster series.
